South Park Blocks
Respect workers' rights. No human being is illegal. International Workers' Day.
Come celebrate International Workers' Day. Music at 10 am, rally at 11 am, march for immigrant workers' rights at noon. Demands include legalization with a clear path to citizenship, family reunification, restoration of civil rights and liberties (an end to the Patriot Act) and a end to free trade agreements like NAFTA and CAFTA that hurt workers in many countries. At 4 pm there will be another rally in the South Park Blocks for folks who can't come earlier. Check out one of many websites promoting this event which is happening nationwide.
