Voters spoke loudly and clearly in support of change during Tuesday’s election. Let’s make sure they get it.
Rather than respect the voting public’s wishes, the Bush administration and certain far-right members of Congress are trying to sneak some of the President’s most controversial policy proposals through the legislature during these last few weeks of “lame duck” session.
Politicians voted out of office by their constituents could soon be rubberstamping anti-worker, anti-consumer, anti-environment policies that will affect our country for years to come—unless we act now to stop them. Please join us.
