Support PPS Food Service Workers

Portland Public Schools food service workers in SEIU Local 503 have been negotiating for 15 hard months for a contract. 

Management is pushing to totally cut health care for newly hired part-time workers.  They are also refusing to raise the cap on thealth insurance, which makes health care unaffordable and inaccessible for hundreds of families.  These cuts are particularly difficult, because the food service workers are the lowest paid workers in the school district.

Dinner will be provided for those who stay to support the workers who testify at the School Board meeting.
