Workers' Rights Board Fair Elections Oversight Commission
Health care workers at local Providence hospitals are seeking to unite with SEIU, Local 49, for a voice in decisions that affect their jobs and their patients. Providence workers are seeking fair election ground rules so that they can choose for themselves, free from intimidation, whether to form a union. This hearing will be an important part of the campaign to obtain fair ground rules, which Providence has not yet agreed to.

We will hear testimony from :
  • Local Providence workers about why they want to organize, current treatment by their employer, and why the believe ground rules are so important
  • Workers from other states about how Providence violated their rights during previous organizing campaigns
  • LERC on how our labor law is broken

Join your community and these Workers’ Rights Board panel members: Bill Bradbury, Secretary of State, Mary King PHD, Economics Chair PSU, Father Jack Mosbrucker, Mother Alcena Boozer, Rabbi Joey Wolf, Dr. Jill Ginsburg, Kaiser, Dick Springer, Community Member.
