Sweatshop documentary, "Maquilopolis" to air on television
"Maquilopolis" (60 minutes), is the wonderful movie about the conditions of several women who live and work in Tijuana.
In the documentary you get to know the women and their children through their humor and their dignity as they struggle for justice where they live and where they work. And sometimes they win.
Maquilopolis is really the only chance most of us will have to see who makes our stuff; tv's, medical supplies, car parts, printers etc. and how they live.
