Letter Carriers Testify to Terrible Working Conditions

The friendly, ever reliable letter carriers have seen their working conditions and customer service deteriorate dramatically over the past few years due to a career employee hiring freeze.  This short video highlights the plight of the"transitional employees" carriers who work for years as temps.  Check out this video from the recent Worker's Rights Board Hearing and then thank your letter carrier for their work - often 6 days a week until 8pm at night!  Then call on the President and  Congress to fix the postal accounting problem. Also, read the article on the hearing in the Northwest Labor Press.

The longer video below covers the entire hearing.
